Okay, every day I get to work & immediately check my e-mail for something from Toni. Toni send me the funniest stuff. I actually crack up at my desk. My co-workers probably think there is something wrong with me but I could care less. She is H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S.
Today I get to work and.....NOTHING :( so I e-mailed her to see whats up. She told me to give her a chance. Now I know whatever I get back is gonna be good because I have now challenged her.
Here is what I got:
There was these to beautiful ,thin, high teenage girls. They used to love the guys. Somehow they ended up with the ones with some teeth missing, reeked like tolly, no job, no money, no cars (or junk cars if they were lucky) no prospects, plan old white trash. Regardless without there boyfriend's meeting any kind of standards (well none had acne anyway) these girls ALWAYS had a good time. Hanging out in a gas station (the owner ended up shot in the face) hanging out in a dingy apartment playing sorry with a loser who probably jacked off the minute they left. Or hanging out in another apartment playing darts in another loser's apartment who probably jacked off when they left too. Skipping Thanksgiving with their family's to go to the neighborhood drug dealers house who told them about "putting an ice cube in their box". Staying anywhere overnight even the lake just not to go home drunk to their parents. I would love to see how those 2 turned out. I wonder do they still hang out. Do they have family's that BBQ together now. Do they still reminice (how do you spell that damn word) about the days they were just stupid? I hope they do because nobody could ever understand or get all the jokes that came out of those years that were in reality a damn joke when you look back on them......
Now some of you are probably like.."what the heck does that mean?" Well there are only a handful of people that can understand it & I am happy to say they are my bestest friends!

Football Season is upon us
This is our 3rd week of football practice. I am so proud of my boys. They are playing tackle football at Norridge park. We are officially a part of the Norrige Youth Association.
My theory is to put my kids in every sport that is offered and then let them decide which one they want to do after they have given them all a shot. I know it sounds crazy and you are probably thinking...no wonder she has lost all control.
They have 4 teams in this league. Bears, Packers, Cardinals and Vikings. We are the Vikings. We actually have kids on the team we know, kids we go to school with and some new kids that are really great kids with really great parents.
I am glad I put them in this. I hope they like it as much as I do. I like my new found friends.
GO VIKINGS GO!!!

Losing control
For the past 4 days I felt like I have no control over my life. I know that sounds pretty severe but let me explain....
I have been working full time since June 19th. I have always worked, however, since April 2004 until June 2008 I have worked in the Painting/Construction Field. I am not trying to say that was not a real industry or a real job, but I was able to pretty much set the rules of my schedule being the Office Manager. I was able to come in late, leave early, take time off whenever I wanted, work from home, go shopping during the day, you know get my other stuff done while working and get paid for it.
I am now working for a great company that is family owned and the people are wonderful but it is a "real" job. No more goofing around.
So here is why I was feeling out of control. I work all day, I come home to a house that is not so clean, I drive the sitter home, pick Mary Jo up at gymnastics, go home try to clean up a bit while making dinner, get the boys ready for football, start laundry, go to football, come home clean up dinner, do more laundry, go to bed and start all over again. I am stressed out to say the least.
I had a R E V E L A T I O N yesterday. I am not GOD although at times, I think I am.
To start off I am going to organize my children. That will eliminate some stress and cleaning. I will start with the boys room. They have so much stuff it is unreal. We (me, mike & marty) are going to get things looking good and keep them that way. I am going to make them P.O.R (proud of their room). This way they will see how good it feels to be clean and neat & hopefully they will want to stay that way.
As for Mary Jo, I am just going to make her more responsible for her stuff. She is a great kid. When asked she does laundry, the dishes and vacuums. I really cant ask her to do anymore at the age of 9 but her room is her room. I am going to ask her to go through her stuff and see what she does not want anymore and maybe we can sell it. Garage sale or eBay. I'm not sure yet.
I will post some before pics tonight and hopefully in a week or so everyone will be done with their rooms and I will post after pics. You may even get some during pics.

A whole lotta nothin'
I know I have not been here in a while so you would think I have tons to write about... Don't get me wrong my life has been chaos since I last wrote but I have a horrible case of writers block.
The block party came and went. It was alot of fun and once again my house rocked the raffle. My uncle Hoppie won the 50/50 $115.00 not too shabby. Alot of my guests won the gift cards and other items that were available.
My niece Jenny and new nephew Chris wed on July 26th which also happened to be my dad's 78th birthday.
As soon as I get organized, I will post pictures.
Day camp is over and we are getting ready for the big school year. September 2, 2008 is back to school day for CPS.
That's all for now, I just wanted to check in and show myself that I can still write a little bit even when I don't think I can.
See you tomorrow....
